How to add custom fields to a proposal
Add your own data fields to deals, contacts, products, and quotations — so Duodeal fits the way you work.
Steps
Go to Settings → Custom Fields and click Create field.
Fill in the field configuration :
- Label — what users see (e.g. "Industry").
- Name — the internal key (no spaces).
- Type — pick from the 13 types below.
- Scope — Deal, Customer, Customer Company, Product, Quotation, or Quotation Line.
- Required — whether it must be filled in.
Set optional properties : field width, display order, public visibility, editable, AI assistance.
Save — the field appears instantly on that record type.
The 13 field types

Example
Example — add a "Priority" field to deals — Create field → Label Priority, Type Select, Scope Deal. Add options Low, Medium, High and save. Every deal now has a Priority dropdown — and you can filter deals by it.
